Welcome!

Welcome to Hey Haters! Brought to you by Do Better Coalition, a place where strength rises from adversity. We come from diverse backgrounds, children of immigrants, who've faced discrimination head-on. These experiences, though tough, have taught us to embrace our uniqueness and wear it proudly.

Our hearts resonate with those who've battled judgment and struggled with their identity. That's why we've built this safe space—a platform for you to share your stories. Speaking up about past hardships is the first step toward personal growth.

Here, you'll find a supportive community that empowers your voice. Your truth matters, and together, we're forging a path to a more inclusive world. So, don't hold back—share your journey, and let empowerment be your guide.

Share your story.

As individuals who have faced discrimination due to our marginalized identities, we've carried these experiences within us. Now, we're ready to break the silence and unite with you to amplify our collective voices. Our aim is to hear your lived experiences and stand as a voice for you in this campaign.

Together, we're forging an inclusive platform where healing takes center stage, and we're committed to helping you reclaim your narrative. Join us in this journey of empowerment and let your story be heard.

Tips:

  1. Acknowledge the fear and vulnerability- Sharing something that is sensitive is a scary thing and it’s natural. Accepting this uncomfortable feeling will help you tackle your nerves to use in a positive way.

  2. Know the importance- Sharing your story is important. The experience you had may have made you powerless at that time, but you have POWER! Talking about it is the start to creating change that is GOOD because it can inspire someone else to take control and navigate life issues in a healthy manner.

  2. Stories that promote violence, hatred, or self-harm.

  3. Stories that seek financial support, donations, or sales of any kind.

We hold the creative rights to the stories you share. We may make edits or changes to the language before publishing to serve our mission of raising awareness and reducing shame and fear.
